Tauer Perfumes Zeta

Hello everyone,
This is my first blog and, perhaps, it will die a quick and fiery death but while it breathes, I want to share my love of skincare, makeup and perfume. Please forgive the basic look. I will try to learn all the IT tricks. Hopefully, the content will make reading it worthwhile.

First up is one of my two favourite fragrances, Zeta by Tauer Perfumes (the other is Mata Hari by Dawn Spencer Hurwitz - review coming soon). So far, this linden-scented joy is the only member of his Collectibles range. To me, this is the perfect scent for this time of year. This soft, but tenacious, floral makes me think of lazy, hazy summer afternoons spent on a blanket in the park re-reading a favourite novel while the dog/ partner/ whoever snoozes beside you. The composition opens with a bright hello of lemon, bergamot and sweet orange. The heart notes include orange blossom absolute, neroli and ylang yang which complement beautifully the linden blossom and rose. The hazy days of summer, although definitely not this year, are recalled by the base notes of orris root, sandalwood and vanilla.
I first purchased this as a sample as I love everything Tauer but as soon as I sniffed it I purchased the full-sized bottle from Scent-and-sensibility. It is very different from other Tauers, it certainly does not surround you with the Moroccan souk like L'Air du desert marocain, but it is glorious in its ability to bathe me in warm, soft sunshine.

My next review will be Tauer Tableau de Parfums Loretta. I adore perfume and this will feature heavily but I also spend way too much on skincare. Currently, I am testing  IS Clinical Innovative Skincare as well as Clinique's new Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector - will review soon.
